speedrunning job hunting
Summer Games Done Quick has been going on, and twice a year GDQ is my favorite time of year! There is nothing I love more than speedruns and good causes. This SGDQ so far has been really really good! So many amazing runs, tons of money donated, incredible moments I won't soon forget.. just perfect and it's not even done yet! The AEW Fight Forever run is something I will NEVER forget lmao.

That aside I've just been playing my silly little games and continuing the neverending job hunt. It's insane how hard it has been to find a job, even with my newfound degrees I can't get anything. It is INSANE. How are people supposed to live if no one gives them that first chance for experience? Every company wants some super drone to do their work, 20 years of experience for an entry level job. It's fucking terrible. Yet, I'm persisting. Desperately trying to find something. SIGH
I'm thinking about starting to do like, the most basic of streams now. Just literally playing a game. I think I was caught up in the idea that streams need to be some big massive event to be entertaining but I think I'm coming around to just like. Fuck it bring let's plays back. The creative juices are still there but the amount of energy and time that has been going into job hunting, interviewing, etc has been so fucking draining. I WANT to create. I don't want to just consume. The brain can only be stretched so thin though, especially when its already riddled with other issues.
Also Tencent killed FFXIV Mobile for english players now. To fight against the insane bot problem (they are in dungeons, raids, trials, killing the marketboard, etc) they added a $4 top up limit in order to be able to access the marketboard, trade, and use FC storage. Sooo unless you're doing ironman.. you're screwed :( it's been a very sad day in the FFXIVM EN Discord for sure. Guess we just gotta wait till Global releases, if it does.
